what you need
Picture Manager runs inside desktop Excel on Windows or macOS. You need an Excel build with ExcelApi 1.10, the JPG, JPEG, or PNG files you want to insert, and internet access for license checks. It is a paid add-in, so you also need a license key from Gorepzio.

After we issue your paid license, we send the manifest and setup instructions. It tells Excel where to load the hosted task pane. There is no separate installer.
- Open Excel and go to Insert → My Add-ins → Upload My Add-in.
- Select the manifest file we sent with your license.
- Click Picture Manager on the Home tab. Older manifests may call the command Insert Pictures.
- Use the manifest file we sent with your license.
- Copy it to
~/Library/Containers/com.microsoft.Excel/Data/Documents/wef. - Restart Excel, then open the add-in from Home → Add-ins or Insert → My Add-ins.

use the add-in
- Choose the ID column. Select any cell in the column that contains the IDs, then click Use selected cell.
- Choose the image column. Select a cell where the pictures should go, then click Use selected cell.
- Set the options. Turn on Skip header row if row 1 is a header. Turn on Fit image to cell if the picture should scale down while keeping its proportions.
- Select the images. Choose a folder on Windows, or select several image files on macOS. The add-in accepts JPG, JPEG, and PNG.
- Run it. Click Insert Images. Picture Manager reads the active sheet, prepares the matches, and inserts the pictures in batches.

matching rules
Picture Manager compares the ID in the sheet with the filename without its extension. It ignores leading and trailing spaces and treats uppercase and lowercase as the same.
- Keep the base filename equal to the ID. The extension can be JPG, JPEG, or PNG.
- If you select the same base filename more than once, JPG/JPEG takes priority over PNG.
- Run the add-in again after changing the sheet. Picture Manager replaces the image it placed for that row and destination column.

buy and activate
Picture Manager is a paid Excel add-in. A valid license is required before the Insert Images control becomes available. Email us for current pricing and include the number of devices you need. We will send you a license key and activation instructions.
- Buy a license. Use the button below. It opens your email app with Gorepzio in To and the requested team members in CC.
- Enter the key. Paste the key into the license panel and add an optional device name such as “Work Laptop.”
- Verify the device. Click Activate. We send a six-digit code to the email attached to the license. Enter it in the task pane and click Verify & Activate.
- Deactivate when needed. Use Deactivate before moving the license to another device.

troubleshooting
“no matching images found”
Check that the ID is the filename base, such as IMG-1042 and IMG-1042.jpg. Remove extra spaces or rename the file.
the Insert Images button is unavailable
Activate the paid license first. If the license is valid, confirm that you are using desktop Excel and that the add-in loaded the ExcelApi 1.10 requirement.
the folder picker is awkward on macOS
Select several files instead of a folder. Choose the JPG, JPEG, and PNG files you want to place, then run the add-in.
the image is not the size i expected
Enable Fit image to cell to scale down while preserving the image ratio. Picture Manager adds a little padding and centers the result over the destination cell.
the verification email did not arrive
Check the license owner’s inbox and spam folder. The code goes to the email attached to the issued license.
